The first thing you’ll want to do is login to the “back-end” of your site as an administrator.
You access the back-end site administration page at:
You’ll need your username and password.
The administration menu is on the left hand side.
Set up your site
In the LHS Admin menu select Settings –> General
Most of the other settings can be left as default, but I generally change Permalinks to use “Post Name”:
